Has anyone had a dental flipper?

I have one mean while I'm done with pregnancy and can get the implant. Did anybody's flipper break? I sometimes eat with it one and it seems to be chipping a tiny bit. I'm currently on medicaid and don't know if it would cover another one. Any one know or have advice?
