Poison Oak on hands-please answer?

Ive had poison oak on both hands for about a week now. As soon as i got the rash, i bought calamine lotion and have been putting it on both hands every day, 2-3 times a day. It doesn't hurt for about 10 minutes after i put it on, but after that, it hurts again..My hands are all dry and it looks like there is a bunch of cracks in it... How long does it take poison oak on hands to go away? and do you have any home remedies? Thank youu!!!!!!!!!!!
