I need to know if this is or not!?

About 2 weeks ago, i noticed some skin peeling on my , and it was bleeding a little bit. the next couple of days, it was just a red spot, no pain, just a swollen red spot just under side ridge of my . Now for the past two weeks i've been putting neosporin and eucerin creme on it and it seems to be getting a little better. I am just afraid that this might be hsv type 2. last time i had was with my girlfriend about 5 weeks ago. she hasn't had any symptoms and before that i had a partner in November. Again, there is no pain, bo blister. just swollen redness. any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
