Could u use a shovel to dig the crayfish out of their burrow? aND WHAT DO CRAYFISH EAT?

You can catch them a lot easier at night just wait by the burrows and wait for them to go away from the burrow ( about 3-4inches away) take a net and scoop them up. they basically eat meat like dead fish i used to have some in a tank and they ate the occasional worm too. but mostly dead fish since that is what they can find in their natural habitat.
