I want to paint my nails?

I want to paint my nails a good color and do a design for it. I don't have a design brush but i heard a tooth pick works just as well. I wanted to know a good design and color. I have the skin color of tyra banks maybe slightly darker. I have long nails so like bight colors with out a design look kinda to old for me. im 15
